Looking aft, starboard side, at the primary winch bases. All the teak you see is set on stainless. The hinges on those coaming locker lids were a concern, they normally mount with the barrel up but I thought that would rip the ends of toes so I turned them over, countersunk them from the back side, polished that back side, and then mounted them upside down and flush by routing an opening with a template into the teak.
